Our Promise
We provide instruction using the latest materials created by the NRA and new technology. Our sole focus is to develop the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe use of firearms. Above all, safety is stressed throughout all instruction.
All classes include necessary classroom materials including a book you will keep, use of a variety of firearms, ammunition, targets and lunch. Basic classes are usually taught in one day. Instructors have over 25 years experience, and will ensure you have your best chance for success. After the successful completion of each class, students receive a certificate that may be used as part of the process to secure a CT Pistol Permit (Basic Pistol) or Long Gun Eligibilty Certificate (Basic Rifle.) We also offer classes to certify students to become Range Safety Officers.
If you are already an experienced shooter and have successfully completed the Basic course for either Pistol or Rifle, and are sufficiently motivated to do even more in our sport, you might consider becoming an NRA Instructor or Chief Range Safety Officer. Our NRA Training Counselor teaches those classes too!
